WELCOME TO THE MIMA 2008

Once again L’Estartit will host a new edition of the prestigious Underwater Image Festival MEDES IMATGE I MEDI AMBIENT - MIMA ’08. From the 3rd to the 8th of June 2008, the town of L’Estartit and the Medes Islands will be ready to receive the festival in an area that has a reputation of more than 20 years of Underwater Image.

The main contest is still the International Open of Underwater Photography, that last year had among their participants 20 nationals and internationals teams. The first prize MIMA ’07 was for Juan Ramón Marcelino (E), the second was given to Rui Guerra (Portugal) and the third for Rafael Pariente Segura (E).
